The Europeans do not trust their media in the coverage of events in Ukraine
International Survey " Sputnik. Opinion held multimedia news Agency Sputnik together with the popular British research firm ICM Reseacrh, demonstrated the level of trust people in the UK, Germany, Greece and France the leading mass media of their countries on the issue of coverage of the Ukrainian fall.

According to the study, more than half of respondents in Germany and a Large number of the respondents in Greece do not trust the leading news media about the events in the South-East of Ukraine. The objectivity of national and transnational media on the subject are not sure also almost fifty percent of the French and about one third of people in the UK.

in response to the question " How much do you trust the world's leading media of your country when the story is about an unbiased and accurate coverage of the Ukrainian fall?" more than half of the respondents (54%) revealed that in total do not trust the world's leading media of the country. Fully trust their media, only 4% of the respondents.

Most cause distrust the mainstream media in their country, the citizens of Greece, a Large number of respondents which is 76% answered "do not believe" (23%) or "rather not believe" (53%). A high percentage of mistrust of the leading media of the country and in Germany, where more than half - 57% - of citizens also doubt the veracity replicated in mass media of information in connection with the events in Ukraine "does not believe" (15%) or "rather not believe" (42%). The mainstream media in the UK, compared with other countries, cause its Residents with the highest confidence. Only 33% believe that you should not trust your media, and at the same time, 55% of citizens are convinced that the English media cover the events in Ukraine truthfully and impartially.

The survey was carried out by ICM Research from 20 March to 9 April 2015 in the UK, Germany, France and Greece. The sample consisted 4001 people (1001 respondents in Greece, in other countries - 1000 people). The sample represents the population by sex, age and geography.
