Peskov: Putin is likely to approve the extension of the list of countries under embargo
It is safe to predict that the Russian President Vladimir Putin would support the proposal by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on expanding the list of countries that fall under the food embargo, said Tuesday the press-Secretary of the head of the country Dmitry Peskov.

"One can with certainty predict that Yes, because, again, there's the fundamental principle is the principle of reciprocity" - said Peskov told reporters, answering a question if they will support the head of the country appeal of the government about expanding the list of countries subject's response, if any, will be forthcoming.

First of Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Ukraine joined the extended economic sanctions of the EU towards Russia.
