Russian president Vladimir Putin, who is in Japan with business visit, called ballerina Maya Plisetskaya and congratulated her with jubilee.

As press-secretary of president Alexey Gromov informed, Vladimir Putin noted in conversation with ballerina that he joins "millions of people who love Maya Plisetskaya, know her, appreciate her talent and are fans of her creative work".

Russian president expressed confidence that ballerina celebrates her jubilee in good mood.

"President told Maya Plisetskaya that signed a decree about state premium rewarding and wanted to grant this award in solemn atmosphere in Kremlin", - informed Alexey Gromov.
