The Russian foreign Ministry in response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from Poland sent a number of Polish diplomats from Moscow. In the Russian office explained this decision by the fact that the adherents of a foreign state engaged in some work, incompatible with their official status.

The Russian foreign Ministry responded to the illegal actions of the Polish authorities relatively adherents of the diplomatic community of the Russian Federation. "The Polish government has actually taken such a hostile and no reasoned step," said the diplomatic office, commenting on the decision of the Polish authorities on the expulsion of several Russian diplomats for alleged activities incompatible with their status.
